Pujehun District Students' Association (PuDSA) Spearhead Inspiring Campaign Against Kush Addiction!

In a stirring display of unity and determination, the Pujehun District Students' Association (PuDSA) hosted a senior secondary school best speaker competition today at the Pujehun Town Court Barry, dedicated to combating Kush and other illicit drugs. Led by the trailblazing Miss Sombo Fortune, the first female president of PuDSA, alongside her dedicated executive, the event marked a pivotal moment in the fight against substance abuse.

AUnder the theme "The Circle of Kush Addiction to Recovery," students from across the district showcased their unwavering commitment to breaking the cycle of addiction. Despite the absence of PuDSA Mother, Madam Rose Cooper, and PuDSA Father, Mr. Julius I.K. Foday Esq, their spirit of guidance and support echoed throughout the court barry, inspiring participants to speak from the heart and advocate for change.


As each speaker took to the stage, their voices resonated with power and conviction. From personal anecdotes to statistical insights, each presentation offered a unique perspective on the devastating impact of substance abuse and the path to recovery. Miss Sombo Fortune, leading by example, delivered a stirring address that galvanized the audience and reaffirmed the importance of collective action in addressing this pressing issue.






Though physically absent, the presence of PuDSA Mother and PuDSA Father was felt in the unwavering determination of every participant. Their legacy of compassion and mentorship served as a guiding light for the students, empowering them to take charge of their future and create positive change in their community.


As the competition drew to a close, it was clear that the students of Pujehun District had not only raised their voices but had ignited a movement. Through their courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the cause, they had taken a bold step towards a future free from the grip of addiction.




In the heart of Pujehun District, a new chapter had begun—one defined by hope, solidarity, and a shared determination to build a brighter tomorrow. With Miss Sombo Fortune at the helm and the unwavering support of PuDSA Mother and PuDSA Father, the fight against Kush and illicit drugs had gained newfound momentum—a momentum fueled by the passion and dedication of the youth.
